About Us
James has 15 years of experience in financial services. He has experience advising clients in both the Public and Private Sectors. He is passionate about helping clients plan for their future and to become financially secure. He was educated in University College Cork where he undertook a degree in Finance. Prior to founding PPS Financial Planning in 2013 he gained experience in financial services working with Futex as a Financial Trader and in Financial Derivatives with Credit Suisse in London. On return to Ireland he worked with HBCL Investments and Pensions where he got experience working with clients in the Private Sector and then followed this up working with Cornmarket Group Financial Services as a Senior Retirement and Investment Consultant working with mainly clients in the Public Sector. He has won numerous awards including an award for outstanding customer service. He is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), Accredited Product Adviser (APA) and a Technician Member of the Irish Taxation Institute (TMITI).
Outside of work James likes spending time with family and friends, reading, current affairs and playing and watching sport.
